Abby just graduated but will be assisting with coaching for the 2020-2021 school year. Her expertise lies in witnessing, and she has spent the past 3 years mastering the art of cross examination from the witness perspective. Or at least attempting to.

Jaimee Hocker

Coming up on her eighth year of Mock Trial, with involvement in high school and college, Jaimee hopes to use her experiences toward coaching the team. Outside of mock, Jaimee enjoys hiking, swimming, playing basketball, and admiring any one of her three dogs. As a coach this year, Jaimee hopes to put forth her best effort in providing guidance and support in order to uplift the team towards the coveted spot at Nationals!

Tomas Tuszynski is from La Cañada, a small suburban town outside of Pasadena, and was a member of the mock trial team for 2 years. He graduated UCSB in 2020 having majored in History and been a leader in the Pre-Law community on campus. He plans to go to law school and practice litigation in order to fulfill his passion to help society better reflect its most fundamental ideals and to pursue justice for those who have been wronged.

Peyton has previously been the President, A team captain, and Vice President throughout her three years on the UCSB Mock Trial team. Her favorite thing was always teaching workshops and helping out the newbies, so, as a recent graduate, she is excited to be involved as a coach this upcoming season. She loves drawing, reading, and catching up on all the sleep she didn’t get as a mock trial competitor.
