How did UCSB Mock Trial respond to the COVID-19 crisis?
- We committed to following the safety measures put in state both by the UCSB administration and the government. As a result, we held half of our fall practices online and half in-person. During the beginning of winter quarter when COVID-19 cases went up in Santa Barbara county we transitioned to a fully online practice schedule. By the end of winter quarter and spring quarter we were able to resume in-person practices.
What will the 2022-2023 season look like?
- As of right now we are planning for a completely in-person season! We are planning to attend in-person invitationals and official AMTA tournaments throughout the school year. We will also be hosting our own invitational, Mocktopia, in-person in November.
